Happy Birthday; Sophie's Log Day 5

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM! I can't believe you are not here for me to lick you and play with you.

I think Auntie G was sad that we could not celebrate with you, too so we had a little party in your honor....balloons and bubbles.....I had fun with both of them....or at least tried to before I hearts that awful word....NO!

Skinny Dipping: Sophie's Blog Day 4

Hi Mom,
I went skinny dipping today....well that's what Auntie G said because I didn't have a swim suit on. Uncle Jay had to come over and so did the pool guy, because there was some kind of leak that helped to water the lawn; but it's all OK now.

Swimming was so much fun! I had the best time shaking water all over everyone, every time I got out. Then I'd jumped back in and do it all over again.....hahaha. I'm exhausted now. I was soooo good, and I let Auntie G wash all of the chlorine out of my fur, just like you asked her to.

It was all good except for lunch....they wouldn't share their feast with me. Sure I had my own dish full of crunchy stuff....but come on. Just LOOK at some of this stuff they had out.

I know the day is not over but I'm so tired from so much swimming, I wanted to send you a message early, share more secrets in case I don't see you for awhile, and make a plea for your safe and speedy return home.

Swimming; Sophie's Log Day 3

Hi Mom,
Hoping you'll be home tonight. But let me catch you up on my day.

I sat by the pool again and stared longingly into its waters. Apparently Auntie G was doing the same because she actually let me get in! I raced her and of course beat her, but had to take a break at the steps because I drank so much water on the way. I had a really good burp and Auntie G tried to make me feel better by burping too.....don't tell her, but it was sooooo lame.

I don't think she realized how much pool water I really drank because the 6th time I asked her to take me out to pee she thought I was crying wolf, whatever that means. I guess I shouldn't have teased her that first day.

OH......and just to let you know, another auntie arrived today.....Auntie Chelle, and she keeps calling me kitty!!!!! WTH???? She appears harmless and brought lots of bottles that bubble. Just wanted to let you know.....

We are back by the pool and these two crazies can't find the lights. I'm sitting here looking at the switch laughing. Hope you come home tomorrow.

Still Waiting: Sophie's Log Day 2

Hey Mom,

I'm STILL waiting for you and Auntie G is STILL here. She left for a while today, came back, left again.......and now she's back again. Also, she spent the night last night, kinda surprised me.

So I decided to surprise her this morning at 5:12. Yep.....I made her take me out to peepee.....hahahahaha. It was so funny.

Oh and for the record, I don't know how her shoe got into the middle of the floor with all of my toys.

Seriously, I did not sniff, lick or chew it at all. It was just there. So weird. She just leaves things everywhere.

Anyway, I'll keep letting her play with me, only to make her feel better. And I'll  keep waiting to hear from you. I miss you mom.

Where'd Ya Go? Sophie's Log Day 1

Hi Mom,

You've been gone a long time today. I keep looking for you but don't worry....Auntie G stopped by and is here with me. We've played with my toys, she rubbed my belly and I had fun teasing her by making whining noises so she would let me outside and tell me to "do da peepees"....just like YOU do. But I really didn't have to go, I just sat in the grass and nibbled on it a little. Hahaha, don't tell her. 

We hung out by the pool a little but she wouldn't let me get in because I just "got my hair did" yesterday and she wanted it to stay pretty for another day....whatever. 

We went on a walk after dinner and there was a bit of a power struggle until I finally decided to make her think she won by pretending to give in, in order to get the treats in her pocket.....sucka. OH, and then when she picked up my poopies, she dropped all the snacks that were left. She is clearly lacking your skills mom. 

It's been kinda fun....but.....mom....she's STILL here, she doesn't appear to be in a hurry to leave AND she is dong things in YOUR bathroom. Just wanted you to know.

I got on her computer while she was looking for a metal toy to open a bottle of something that she won't share with me, no matter how long I sit here and look at her. I hope you get this and I hope you'll be back in the morning. I'm waiting anxiously
